Multimedia at its best

If you get a chance check out probably my favorite slide show created yet for The Daily Journal. It brings together what slide shows should be: photographs and music that tell a story without words. With over a few thousand hits since it hit the website the end of March, it definitely has hit an emotional cord with viewers:

Hot Fun in the Winter Time?

Back in March we had a few 72 degree warm days (very unseasonal - the average temp. last year was 45 degrees), so I went out and got some pictures. All below belong to The Daily Journal

Out the Passenger Window

Here's some pictures I took while riding shotgun with the boyfriend coming back to Illinois from Ohio.

"I want the world to know his name"

These are pictures for Red Genson's first full-length cd (his demo was released this past winter). He's very down-to-earth and his sound is very "blues/funk/rocking out with his acoustic" so we kinda just went with it...in very, very chilly weather by the way.

Making Some Beautiful Music Together

One of my greatest guy friends ever, Mr. Jeffrey Gargas is marrying this amazing, lovely lady, Amy from Hiram...and I get to capture all their love through my lens...here's a sneak peak:
(Engagement session - March 2007, wedding will be Sept. 2007)

42nd Floor Love

I got to start assisting Oscar of http://s1photography.com
for the first time on 42nd floor of the John Hancock Center for a wedding on St. Patty's Day. Here's 2 of my favs:

We're All Better Off in New York

In March I went to NYC to visit my good friend, Andrew and also, my foreign friend Claudia who was in from Germany. While there I also saw many other old college buddies (I say that as if I graduated in 1950), and also got to meet the art work of my favorites: Van Gogh, Irving Penn, Andy Warhol, and Picasso. It was a marvelous time...because as Andrew would say "we're all better off in New York"

It's been awhile, but NYC was worth the wait
