Good Times in Chicago
My brother and two best friends came to visit me and we spent the day in Chicago and spent the day wandering the city and of course, taking pictures. I took the top one of my best friend, Brian downtown and then he took the bottom one of the reflection of all of us in Millenium Park late at night. We tried to take the bottom picture without flash (because of the reflection) but it was way too dark.

Children's Photography for this week
One of my favorite subjects to shoot is Children's fashion or portraiture. I've been lucky to babysit and have good friends that have adorable and photogenic children (which you'll be seeing more of this week), and I also got to take pictures for a huge fashion show at Kent State last spring. This child model here is probably the best child model I have ever seen, let alone photograph - if I ever make it to the big time in children's photography she's going with me!

The Face of Music (in Sanity Fare)
For the past 5-6 years I have been photographing the band Sanity Fare from Warren, Ohio. I started photographing them my freshman year at college as the band was just taking form, and as they developed their musical craft into something amazing, I too was devloping in my photography. These guys are amazing and have let me into each of their lives for the past years, and being a few states away now really makes me glad I can still hear them everyday on my iTunes and their cds (please visit them at: www.sanityfare.com) - The top picture was the first "staged" picture I took of them, from back in March of 2002.

Different take on a few of my favorite things
I took these two pictures during a color concepts class during college...so many photos are done with roses (our professor actually banned use of roses in photos after February because there were so many) and I also wanted to take a different perspective on shoes (although I had to re-shoot this one a few times, because the first ones were too abstract and you couldn't tell they were actually shoes).
